  • Arsenal vs Tottenham Hotspur: The North London derby is always huge, but with Antonio Conte’s Spurs beating the Gunners to a Champions League spot on the final day of the 2021/22 season, there will no doubt be some more fuel added to the fire when these two meet in the upcoming season.

  • Crystal Palace vs Brighton: This match is a rivalry (not a derby) that stems from the 70’s/80’s and over the last couple of seasons, the game has offered a lot of drama which has included penalty saves, great goals and a lot of last-minute goals as well. Two of the last three games between the sides have seen a last-minute win and a last-minute equaliser.

  • Liverpool vs Everton: The Merseyside derby is always a classic, but with the Toffees narrowly surviving relegation, the gap has never been bigger between the two. What is great about the fixture for next season is the fact that Richarlison has added some fuel to the fire due to some of his tweets. Liverpool winning only two trophies out of four has somehow been the only good thing for Everton players to celebrate this season.
Liverpool and Everton players clash during the Premier League match between Liverpool and Everton at Anfield on April 24, 2022 in Liverpool, England.
  • Liverpool vs Manchester City: This will most likely be the fixture between first and second in the division as City and Liverpool seem miles ahead of their competition at the moment. Both sides will be desperate to beat each other, and it will be a huge sign towards who wins the 2022/23 trophy.
