Premier League sides Manchester United, Aston Villa, Leeds United and Crystal Palace have all announced games in Australia as part of their 2022-23 pre-season.
United will play Villa in Perth on July 23 at the 60,000 seat Optus Stadium. It will be the fourth match of Erik ten Hag’s tenure, with United already scheduled to play Liverpool in Bangkok, followed by Melbourne Victory and Crystal Palace in Melbourne.
Prior to that, Villa will meet Leeds in the inaugural Queensland Champions Cup — a pre-season tournament that will also feature the A-League side Brisbane Roar.
Villa, Leeds, and Brisbane will play one another once in a round robin format, with the meeting between Premier League foes set for Sunday 17 July at the Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane.
Leeds will then play a friendly against Crystal Palace at the Optus Stadium on July 22.
