Antonio Conte has won 65 of his first 100 Premier League games and only José Mourinho and Pep Guardiola have a better record.
Tottenham secured a 3-1 win over Leicester City yesterday, moving two points behind fourth-placed Arsenal and five behind Conte’s ex-club Chelsea.
The Italian tactician has now won 65 of his first 100 games in the English Premier League. Only Mourinho and Guardiola have managed more in the same time (73 each). The current Roma boss, Conte and Manuel Pellegrini, are also the only coaches to have won the title in their first season in England.
The Italian tactician holds the record for the most home victories in the first 30 Premier League games, having won 25 of them. Nobody has ever managed as many.
Reports in France and Italy suggest that Conte could leave Tottenham at the end of the season, joining PSG. The Italian tactician labelled the rumours as ‘fake news’ but said he’ll need to talk to his club at the end of the season.
His contract in North London expires in June 2023.
