Last night, Liverpool beat Southampton 2-1 to keep their Premier League title hopes alive. Jurgen Klopp’s side have given themselves a chance of catching leaders Manchester City on the final day of the season.
Elsewhere, Nottingham reached the Championship play-off final after a dramatic 3-2 victory against Sheffield United on penalties. The match was, however, overshadowed by an assault on Sheffield United striker Billy Sharp during a pitch invasion from supporters after the game at the City Ground.
Attention now turns to Seville, where Rangers will be hoping to cap their thrilling European adventure with silverware when they take on Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League final.
