The 2022/23 Premier League season will be an historical campaign due to the mid-season break for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in November and December.
This will be the first season to include a World Cup during a domestic campaign within English football with fans remaining unconvinced by what is on the horizon.
The first step on the road to 2022/23 comes on Thursday, June 16 with supporters marking their diary for the fixture list announcement.
Despite the first ball not being kicked until August, due to the extended international break, the schedule is always cause for huge excitement in the slow summer months.
When will the 2022/23 Premier League fixtures be revealed?
The Premier League fixture release date is the first crucial date for clubs, players and supporters as they plan for the demanding months ahead.
Premier League chiefs have confirmed all fixtures for the 2022/23 season will be announced at 9am BST (4am ET) on Thursday, June 16.
Each club will update fans on individual fixtures once the Premier League inform them of their forthcoming plans tomorrow. The Sporting News will also provide fans with the full fixture list for all 20 clubs at 9am on the website.
However, as fans will testify the schedule is subject to major changes due to broadcaster demands, with August’s televised (UK) matches set to be confirmed at the start of July.
